Companions in Faith:
60 Devotions on How our Pets Reflect God’s Heart
by Cindy Tang
What can a loyal dog, a curious cat, or even a tiny goldfish reveal about the heart of God?
More than you might expect.
In Companions in Faith, Cindy Tang, founder, host and voice of the globally syndicated radio ministry, Moving Moments, draws on the animals she has known and loved to illuminate the truths that matter most: faithfulness in the middle of chaos, grace for the habits we can’t shake, and a God who shows up not in the spectacular, but in the ordinary.
Each devotion pairs a warm, true-life animal story with timeless biblical truth, then invites readers to go deeper through scripture, reflection questions, prayer, and journaling space. The result is a book that is easy to pick up and hard to put down, and one that quietly reshapes how readers see their everyday moments.
Because behind every loyal dog, every cat staging a one-sided fight for the sunbeam, every goldfish named Gary, there is a God using all of it to remind us we are seen, carried, and loved.
Companions in Faith is a celebration of the animals who point us to the greatest Companion of all, Jesus Christ.
